This original pattern was written by me (Katy)! I just love this pattern because it’s so quick and easy to make. Even if you have never used the main stitch before it is easy to master.

This sweater is one of those things that is so simple but the results are something you’ll love. It’s constructed from the top down all in one piece. I’ve even added the option for long sleeves. I love that you can also easily adjust the fit of this one. Because it’s a topdown sweater you can adjust the fit as you go and add or take away length if needed.

For the pattern you’ll need a J (6mm) hook, worsted weight yarn and 4 stitch markers. For the sample I used Bernat Super Value but testers had great results with other worsted weight yarn. I really like the Super Value because it’s one of those yarns that you get a lot for your money but it’s softer (especially after blocking) than other affordable yarns. I Love This Yarn by Hobby Lobby would work well too.


What you’ll need:
Worsted weight yarn (1-2 skein of each color)
J hook (or hook to obtain gauge)
Tape measure
Yarn needle
